Bruce Clark has over 25 years of experience in commercial disputes and complex civil trial, appellate, and arbitration matters spanning a broad array of practice areas and industries.

From many years as a litigation partner in a premier, international law firm, his background includes litigation avoidance strategies, early resolution of disputes, dispositive motions, negotiated settlements, jury and bench trials, mediations, arbitrations, post-trial motions, and appeals in a variety of state and federal courts.

Bruce’s clients have ranged from Fortune 50 companies to start-up businesses and individuals, including defense of pharmaceutical companies, consumer product manufacturers and distributors, industrial product manufacturers, elder care companies, hospitals, physician practice groups, financial institutions, construction contractors, and educational, charitable and cultural institutions.

His product liability and consumer fraud cases have involved prescription, over-the-counter, and veterinary pharmaceuticals, medical devices, tobacco products, flavorings and other food products, fire-retardant-treated lumber, motor vehicles, packaging, counterfeit products, and a variety of other consumer products in class actions, consolidated actions, and individual actions. His healthcare cases have included federal and state regulatory, licensure, and certificate-of-need disputes; challenges to staffing and standard of care of continuing care retirement communities, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities; reimbursement claims; zoning and taxation of health care facilities; and hospital staff privileges controversies.

Bruce has extensive experience working as a member of teams of lawyers from different law firms to represent a single client or as part of a joint defense. He has a well-deserved reputation for working collegially, efficiently, and effectively with lawyers from across the country.

Bruce has lectured at Rutgers Law School and has taught Business Law as an adjunct faculty member at Mercer County Community College. He has been an author and frequent lecturer at national conferences on product liability and elder care issues, including:
